How often do you actually acknowledge or even think about your dreams or even admit that you have desires? I mean really spending some heart energy to give them space, ponder and acknowledge their reality.
Rarely?
Once a month?
Once a week?
A couple times a week?
Every day?
A few times a day?
The point is, I promise you they are always trying to get your attention, but even if you think about them, do you end up ignoring them? Maybe you think it’s a waste of time or there are other things you need to give your time, brain power and energy to. We tend to blow them off as folly.
I’m bring this up because most of us don’t really allow ourselves to acknowledge their reality because they feel very elusive.
BUT THEY’RE NOT! THEY ARE REAL! AND THEY HAVE A PURPOSE!
In fact, they are your journey to hope. Hope is something I’ve had to hold dear in recent months. I learned that the actual meaning of hope is: Desire accompanied by expectation of or belief in fulfillment of; the expectation of fulfillment or success.
The truth is we don’t trust hope for fear of disappointment. Of course, that’s why we ignore our desires and dreams.
And you know what? Nothing ever happens with something that is ignored or discounted. The thing about hope is that it is the fuel to endless possibilities. Dreams without hope are like a garden without water. Picture what happens – the entire garden dries up. A sad picture, huh?
When our dreams are truly acknowledged and given the power to become reality, hope becomes the fuel of life. But it doesn’t happen automatically. Sometimes it’s really not easy to hang on to hope.
I catch myself thinking what’s the point. Right? But hope is like adding wood to a fire to keep it burning, otherwise, it ends up a pile of ashes.
Is that what has happened to your desires and dreams? The difference is they are not ashes, they just need to be acknowledged for hope to become a heart reality.
By simply acknowledging that your dreams are real and carried in your heart for a reason, you are fueling your life with amazing hope!
Believe in their fulfillment!! After all, they are connected to your purpose!!
With hope in your dreams,
Ruthie
