Have you ever imagined a world where women aren’t at war with themselves?

A world where women aren’t spending 80% of their time and energy thinking negatively about their bodies or caring for her appearance.  And what about the money spent on augmentation, anti-aging cosmetics and clothes?

Oh, yes, the clothes that we spend way too much money on, knowing our closets don’t have room for – because of our obsession with appearance. After all, this snappy outfit will make them think I’m…

It’s all because we are convinced we have “flaws” that must be disguised.

I almost never hear a woman say anything positive about her body or her intellect or her mothering or position in society.

So, I wonder, what would it look and feel like if we lived that 80% in ways that bring us real joy, nurturing relationships, spending our money on experiencing life and things that grow our soul.

How bright would that life be?  How would it feel?

I see a world where women stop explaining themselves and acting in desperation for approval.

This is a world that takes me back to how it felt as a little girl to be proud of my pretty dress; to ask questions because I was curious; to feel creative when making mud pies; to draw pictures with no thought of whether it was art or not.

So how and why did we surrender 80% of all that to play in the narrative of – I’m not enough?

So what do you see and feel in a world as a woman not at war with herself?  Maybe it’s time to look at that innocent little girl and tell her she was always enough.

What would it feel like to spend less time getting ready in the morning, or less money on hair color, mani-pedi’s, $100+ face creams or botox?

What would you do with the time and money?  What would your life look and feel like?

Just asking!
