Attraversiamo
LET’S CROSS OVER
I’m so glad you’ve made the choice to cross over with me! My favorite word is an Italian word – Attraversiamo. It means “let’s cross over.” (Yes, I stole it from the movie Eat, Pray, Love).
The photo of this bridge was taken at a pivotal time on a trip to Sea Ranch, CA. If you linger a bit and choose to walk this bridge with me, I warn you that your life will never be the same, as my heart touches yours and you learn more about my passion to LET YOUR GLOW SHOW! My heart is to connect with yours and build a soulful relationship as I envision walking hand in hand with you on this journey. A journey to live your inner light, all your passions, instead of denying or ignoring them in a paralyzing search for the permission slip to be YOU.
The GREAT NEWS is that you will no longer be stuck, living in the mire of
have-to / supposed-to.
You will, maybe for the first time, know YOU – all of you!
My purpose and message is simple:
You have an inner light – a purpose – and you are enough!
The second step is to check out my books. Fireflies is my first novel and Declutter Your Soul is my free eBook that capsulizes my passion and will guide you through soul nurturing, new perspectives on the truth about the path to LET YOUR GLOW SHOW! I am also a contributor to Goodness Abounds which is a wealth of stories of inspiration and encouragement.

TRUST
I’ve always considered myself someone who holds a strong Trust in my heart.
It’s been said a million times that life is the best teacher, that difficult times grow us. And yes, I confirm that my big lessons and gained wisdom have come through the hardest of times.
In these days we are living, it’s a brighter truth than ever. The constant keeping a check on fear, negative thoughts, hopelessness, sadness is exhausting when we are making our way every day through so much unknown.
The word Trust has been curiously meeting me at every point.
CHANGE IS LIFE – LIFE IS CHANGE
If you didn’t know this before, I’m pretty sure you do now.
I’ve always considered myself very adaptable and resilient when it comes to change and disappointment. But I gotta tell ya, this year has me screaming ENOUGH!
You too? And so it goes, this is not my typical “Happy Thanksgiving” blog. Being grateful goes without saying, but I’m tapped out when it comes to change and the bizarre.
That being said, I realize now, there is a truth I live by but apparently needs to continue to grow and solidify itself in me. And that is…
A DRIVE IN THE FOG
It was last week that I am now so glad I just did it! I have always wanted to journey the famous Talimena Drive in Oklahoma. It is a mountainous drive painted with the spectrum of fall colors in amazing splendor.
A couple friends and I decided this was the year to finally venture out. After all, it’s been a year fraught with crazy, the bizarre, uncertainty, and just hard. No one has been untouched by stress, frustration, being forced to pivot, and loss. Loss of finances, jobs and of course loved ones or friends.
Not surprisingly, as surprises have become pretty much the norm…
WE ARE IN A PARADIGM SHIFT
Paradigm shift.
Those are words that just won’t stop ringing in my heart. The meaning of paradigm is a pattern or a model. You could think of it as a norm if you will. Even though there is not really such a thing as normal, our patterns and beliefs that have been modeled to us are what cause our existence we call “the norm.”
I’m pretty sure that at this time, none of us consider the lives we are living normal. A common phrase I hear every day is “I just want things to get back to normal.”
WE HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR BUT FEAR ITSELF
Those were the words of President Roosevelt in a time of crises, yes, multiple. Most people alive today, know little to nothing about that time in history, but because those times have many similarities to our current crises, yes, multiple, it serves us so well to remember this mindset he led the country to adopt.
Besides the losses and unprecedented mandates that have so harshly inflicted our lives, I can honestly say that the thing that saddens me the most, and quite frankly is the most debilitating long term, is the fear that has seized our minds and souls.
THESE ARE THE DAYS
Do you feel it?
Truly, I feel so strongly these worst of times and the best of times! It’s like the grueling climb up an enormous mountain, but oh, the view from the top.
I wholeheartedly believe we are in major transformative times. It feels so dark, but with shards of the brightest light any of us could possibly imagine.
THE GOLDEN TICKET FOR THE TRAIN TO NOWHERE
There’s never been a time when it’s so critical to know for sure what train you’ve boarded! What “all aboard” call you’ve responded to.
As I’ve seen video and heard the stories of people threatened and even trapped in the CA fires, it hit me – that is such a metaphor for how we are all feeling. Trapped by the threatening flames of uncertainty, fear, anxiety, hopelessness, the pain of loss.
ARE YOU DONE WITH “TOUGHING IT OUT”?
You don’t have to prove your strength to anyone!
If you’re like me, something just doesn’t feel right. Emotions are showing up like whack a moles. Honestly, we don’t know what to do with them.
The problem is, we can’t whack them over the head and make them disappear! But that’s pretty much what we’re trying to do if we ignore or minimize them, proclaiming, “I’m okay.”
YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO THIS ALONE
I know I’m not the only one who struggles, every day, so very different from yesterday.
We live in a rapidly changing world with few warnings, illusive truth, and anxiety breathing down our neck.
